Since its inception in 2005, Beaufort Wine and Food has focused on a core group of local charities as recipients for the proceeds earned from its event. Through the generosity and support from sponsors, members and wine and culinary participants, Beaufort Wine and Food has donated over $1,00,000 for local non-profits.

Beaufort Wine and Food Weekend, Inc. is a 501 c3 non profit. The first festival started as a weekend event in 2005 and was held in the streets of downtown Beaufort.

The first events were a huge success and pointed the festival towards the growth and expansion that it enjoys today.

With the help of a hard-working board, countless volunteers, culinary and beverage support, the festival continued to grow and draw larger numbers of guests each year. The support of these individuals and their organizations shaped Beaufort Wine and Food to reflect the organization that you see today.
